This single family, two-bedroom free standing vacation rental home is just a couple blocks east of Abbott Kinney and only a five minute bike ride to the beach. This beautiful house is within walking distance to countless stores, restaurants, and a couple grocery stores including Whole Foods.
Description
This original Venice 2 bedroom 1 bath Craftsman home sits on a huge grassy well manicured lot in the neighborhood just east of the hippest street in West LA, Abbot Kinney Avenue. The private front yard has comfortable outdoor seating for 6 people to enjoy the California sunshine or toast an evening cocktail. The field like backyard gives you plenty of room to run around or stretch out and enjoy a picnic. True California grape vines create a dense screen from the neighbor, and if you visit in late summer you can eat the vine fresh grapes. At the far end of the yard there is parking for one car and has secure gated access from the alley. There is also abundant street parking.
As you approach the front door you ascend a short set of steps and enter into the spacious living room. The living room has comfy seating close to a centrally placed gas wall heater. As you continue through the house you enter the dining room with a large table and chairs to seat up to 6 people comfortably. The art displayed throughout the house suits all tastes and is an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique.
The master bedroom has a comfy king sized bed with a lush view of green from the window as well as a 40” flat screen TV with BluRay Disc Player. The master also has a step in closet to accommodate a vacationers wardrobe of any size. The second bedroom has two twin sized beds that can be rearranged to fit baby cribs. There is a standing wardrobe closet in this bedroom as well.
The kitchen comes well stocked with all the comforts of your home kitchen. Oak cabinets line the spacious kitchen and enough room for two people to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee at the breakfast table. There is also a door leading out to the big back yard!
This vacation home is completely furnished and the beds made with high thread count linens and towels, and is available for short and mid-term rentals. It has cable TV as well as wireless high speed internet.
